Carols in the Goyt raise £120 for Blythe House

Members of the Vernon Building Society Band from Poynton, who played Carols in the Goyt Inn on  Friday 13th December managed to raise £120 for charity following a highly successful  nights entertainment enjoyed by all. Gareth Steele, the organizer of the event, thanked all those who came along to play and sing, and who contributed to the collection. The money raised goes to Blythe House Hospice who offer free, individualised, holistic care and support for anyone in the High Peak living with cancer or other serious, life threatening illness. www.blythehousehospice.co.uk
