I remember when Dorothy visited us in Australia, our lovely trip to Cairns and into the Daintree. That magical day when we walked through the Fan Palms, the sun trickling through their fronds. The boat trip down the Daintree river, the crocodiles and bird life. The wonderful taste of Wattle Seed icecream! The time spent on the farm in Tarago, a hot dry summer, so unlike home! playing cricket in the paddock with the children. We cherish our visits to Dorothy and Aunt Cath in England the memories they shared with us. We will miss you Dorothy, from Catherine Sloan - Catherine Harlow's niece.

I knew Dorothy she was a neighbour and made a fantastic effort to make me feel welcome when I move onto the Meadowfield estate. She always spoke or waved and was a wonderful lady, I will miss her greatly and hope that she will rest in peace - having helped so many in her life I'm sure she will. Take care, Dorothy

My name is Raj, and I live in local at Furness Vale. I am taking part in the Greater Manchester Marathon on the 29th April 2012.

I am preparing for the challenge of a lifetime - to take part in the Greater Manchester Marathon for the National Autistic, the UK’s leading charity for people affected by autism.

When my training is at its most gruelling I am spurred on by the knowledge that my effects to help individuals with autism, which is a serious, lifelong and disabling condition. Without the right support, it can have a profound - sometimes-devastating - effect on individuals and families.

Autism is much more common than most people think. There are over half a million people in the UK with autism - that is around 1 in 100. If you include their families, autism touches the lives of over 2 million people everyday.

If you like to support me in effects to raise money for the NAS, sponsor me now by visiting www.justGiving.com/Raj-Maharjan or by calling 07960 470 070 if prefer filling sponsorship form.

It is easy to denote online - it is quick and safe with a credit or debt card. Just go to my justGiving.com page.

Just giving sends your donation straight to National Autistic Society and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. I hope you will join me in supporting NAS.

Accept Difference. Not indifference.

Thank you.
