Keeping  live music alive in our pubs!

This Saturday(26th May) we have local band, Lethal Sin, playing their debut gig here at the Railway. Really good rock band. Come along and give them your support on their first public appearance.

Sunday afternoon (27th May)at around 5.30 we have duo Elrieke and Leopold joining us. They are over from The Netherlands to do some recording with ex Magna Carter member, Linda Simpson, and really well worth a listen to.

Thanks from Dominique.

Furness Vale COGS – A great day out for all the family 19th May ! White Van Man and Neon RailRoad are playing too !

The third annual COGS event is going from strength to strength ,and this year local band White Van Man, amongst others, are playing to help  Furness Vale COGS (Community organizing green spaces)  achieve their aims. COGS have set out to improve the existing playing field in Furness Vale, by attempting to attract QE2 grant funding in order to make it available as an open space for all sections of the community. The idea is to include sporting facilities, a garden area and activities for children and young people.

White Van Man are not the only superb local band playing. Neon RailRoad( http://en-gb.facebook.com/NeonRailroad?filter=3), The Beachcombers( http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Beachcombers/27606667373?sk=wall&filter=12) and ‘We’re Sparticus’, are also playing, along with some possible others!
