Food at the Basin – a quarterly market at the Canal Basin in Whaley Bridge – upcoming events are Saturday 9 June from 9am to 2pm; Sat 4 August from 9am to 2pm; Sat 27 October from 9am to 2pm; and Christmas Market on Sat 8 December from 9am to 2pm – see here

Whaley Bridge Well Dressing is prepared in the Mechanics Institute from 16 June and displayed at Tom Brad’s Croft commencing with the Blessing on 24 June at 2.30pm  – see here

Whaley Bridge Art Group Annual Exhibition to be held on Saturday 30 June at the Uniting Church – see here

Whaley Bridge Carnival – a parade from the Canal Basin to Horwich End, and back to the Bowling Club along Old Road, to be held from 1pm on Saturday 30 June, followed by a fun day of entertainments, fair rides, food, music and performance at Whaley Bridge Bowling Club – see here
