Furness Vale History Society meets on Tuesday 1st December when Ian Edgar M.B.E., Chairman of the Bugsworth Basin Heritage Trust tells the story of the restoration of Derbyshire’s inland port.
The meeting is at Furness Vale Community Centre, Yeardsley Lane at 7.30pm. Admission is £1.50 including refreshments. A licensed bar is also available.
