Litter Pick This Saturday !

Whaley 4 Wards are organizing a general litter pick this Saturday (10th Nov). It is primarily to tidy up prior to Remembrance Sunday and will focus on the Memorial park area and Bridgemont war memorial. Some of us will also visit Furness Vale Memorial and ensure the area there is tidy. We will however use the opportunity to do a general cleanup around Whaley. Volunteers would be very welcome to help – gloves, bags  and litter picker sticks will be provided. Please ensure you have good footwear.

If you can’t make it to our session, then you can still contribute if you want by doing a quick local 10 minute clear up in your own area. Every little bit that gets done makes a difference. If you need bags or gloves or want to borrow a litter picker, then just get in touch.

We will be meeting at the Whaley Bridge Bowling Club car park at 12pm and will work till around 2pm. You are welcome to drop out at any time – dont feel you have to committ to a full 2 hrs.
