My name is Andy Crosthwaite and I am the local beat officer for Whaley Bridge/Furness Vale. I have been a police officer for about 10 years, having worked previously at New Mills, Chapel, Ashbourne and Buxton police stations.
I shall be spending as much time as I can in Whaley Bridge along with my colleague, Community Support Officer Tracy Jones and we look forward to meeting and being involved with all aspects of the community.
I am married to a fellow police officer and have two children. When not working I enjoy family life and following Derby County football club. Don't hold that against me though, as for some strange reason, there seems to be a lot of folk who follow teams from somewhere called Manchester!
