Whaley Bridge Town Council is an elected body made up of 12 Councillors, 3

representing each of the 4 wards of Fernilee, Furness Vale, Taxal and

Yeardsley.



We meet in the Mechanics Institute at 7.30pm on the 2nd Thursday of each

month.



An agenda, which is published a week before the meeting (along with the

minutes of the last meeting), is displayed on the notice board outside the

Mechanics and on this web site.



Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meetings and may speak on

any subject during the Open Forum Session.

Our responsibilities include: Provision of Allotments; Consultation on

planning matters; Brookfield Pond; Mechanics Institute; Running and managing

the Sports Centre.
