Spring Bank Arts Centre, New Mills, Derbyshire has an exciting vacancy for an Arts & Learning Co-ordinator. The Centre, a Grade 2 listed building, provides a stunning venue for performances, exhibitions and learning in our small, thriving community.
We need an enthusiastic co-ordinator to run the day to day activities in the Centre. You will assist with developing the Heritage and Learning programme, work in the creative programmes team to build our Arts events, manage bookings for the many centre users and support our publicity team.
You will need to demonstrate some experience and knowledge of events management, arts development, heritage interpretation with administration and IT skills. Local knowledge of the entertainment and arts scene in New Mills would be a distinct advantage.
The post is for 21 hours per week at £8.50 per hour. Actual working hours will be agreed with the successful candidate, but at least 3 hours attendance at the Centre will be required on each weekday.
