Development Worker (Groups)

Working hours: 25 hours per week

Salary: £23,836 Pro Rata at 25 hrs per week

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months with possibility to extend/increase hours depending on funding. 

Pension Auto Enrolment Scheme, 5% Employer contribution subject to Employee Contributions

Location: Home Based and/or Whaley Bridge – travel required throughout the High Peak

High Peak CVS is a charitable organisation that supports community and voluntary groups across the High Peak area of Derbyshire. An exciting and vital opportunity has now arisen for a Development Worker to join our small and dedicated team.

The Development Worker will be a key member of the team and will focus on our core activity of supporting and developing new and existing community groups across the High Peak. Voluntary and community organisations are essential in delivering services and support to the local community and this role will be paramount in offering the expertise, advice and guidance required to support our members.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with Community groups and organisations and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges they face.

The Development Worker will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
