Toddbrook Sailing Club based on the beautifully scenic Toddbrook reservoir overlooking Whaley Bridge, are running several 1 day ‘Start to Sail’ courses in August and September. If you’ve always fancied having a go, but never got round to it, then this could be your opportunity.
Toddbrook sailing club are currently completing work on their new clubhouse, funded via a 50K lottery fund grant which was received in 2013. It should be completed this summer. They are also applying for a further grant to upgrade their changing facilities, and they will find out if they have been successful in September this year.
The club is expanding their activities and offer a wide range of courses and activities. On Sunday morning or afternoons, they run adult and family taster sessions , so if you fancy a interesting Sunday, then contact the club and go along.
