Owner Annie shows off Bert’s rosette, watched by judge Natalie Bowers

Bert, a black Labrador, won the top rosette at Whaley Bridge’s annual pet show. Dozens of pets ranging from a chameleon, a snake, a spider, a rooster to rabbits, guineapigs, cats and many dogs entertained a big crowd at the Bowling Club arena.  The show was organised for the Rose Queen Festival committee by Fernmoss pet shop.

Rose Queen chairman Tim Mourne said: “The show was a great success.  Thanks to all the owners who brought their pets.”
