Gladman Homes planning application for Macclesfield Road is published

On 19th February, Gladman Developments Ltd of Congleton, Cheshire, filed a ‘Large Scale Major Application’ with High Peak Borough Council for outline planning consent to build 107 homes on land below Linglongs Road, Whaley Bridge.

Having checked that all necessary reports are provided, and they are many, the Borough Council planning office stamped the application as valid on 9th April, and published its contents on its website for consultation.

Those affected should receive notice at their home addresses.

Comments by those affected by the proposal may be made using a link on the webpage above. or in writing to the planning department of High Peak Borough Council.

The application will probably go to the full planning meeting of High Peak Borough Council in June 2014.

Whaley Bridge Town Council is not responsible for planning in Whaley Bridge, but it may make comments. It will be reviewing the application at its Planning Meeting on 8th May following the Annual Council Meeting, and May Town Council meeting. The planning meeting will not commence before 9 pm.
