Live and Local—The Iranian Feast, Spring Bank Arts, New Mills

A play with food from the heart of Persia – This is for anyone who loves quality theatre and food!  Traditional Persian food prepared by Danial, his wife and daughter with help from their friends and neighbours.  Part thriller, part cookery lesson, this is a story of a family working out how life will be in the future; a story that is suprising, uplifting and a celebration of being alive.  Going in the pot are fresh herbs, spices, sweet vegetables, and Eli’s mother’s secret ingredient.

The Iranian Feast comes from the Farnham Maltings a small creative arts centre in Surrey which has a knack for spotting great stories that will work well in community venues.  Spring Bank Arts is a wonderful performing arts venue located over looking the Peaks in the Town of New Mills.
