Spitfire to fly over Rose Queen Carnival

Always a great attraction: Northenden Pipe Band

JUNE bows out in Whaley Bridge with the Rose Queen Carnival.  The crowning and street parade take place on Saturday 29 June, starting at 12,30pm.  The procession winds its way round the town, finishing at the Bowling Club.

This year an RAF Spitfire will make a spectacular flight over Whaley Bridge on Carnival Day.

Attractions include Whaley Bridge Band, Northenden Pipe Band, New Mills Band, Davyhulme Scout Band, the famous Billerettes and the Urban Gypsies.
