Whaley Bridge Well Dressing begins on Saturday, 22nd June 2013 and culminates in the Blessing of the Well on Sunday, 30th June at 2.30.p.m.The first weekend, Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd June, mini boards, will be available once again, for children who must be accompanied by an adult. The cost will be £2 per board.
Monday ,24th June –Saturday, 29th June is ‘Well Dressing in the Making’ and visitors will be very welcome to come and watch and have a go if they wish. Both the children’s activities and the making of the mural will take place in the marquee adjacent to the canal. Sunday’s Blessing is an open air event at Tom Brad’s Croft, close to Drinkwater’s Builders Merchants.
*Please note that Saturday, 29th June is also the village Rose Queen event and Whaley Bridge Art Group’s Annual Exhibition at the Uniting Church.
