Remember the Big Christmas Carol Sing in aid of Christian Aid at the Uniting Church, Whaley Bridge last December? It’s back on Saturday 28 April, from 11 am to 12.30 pm, in the Uniting Church, with favourite hymns instead of Christmas carols. Donations to Christian Aid will again be greatly appreciated.

Shoppers and their families are invited to take a break and drop in to the church on Buxton Road. The minister, Rev Michael Peat says: “It will be an opportunity to sing some of the great hymns of faith, and perhaps join in percussion-playing (and even dance), and to enjoy tea and coffee and cake, in a relaxed atmosphere.”
