Whaley Brass Band makes use of Donation

Whaley Bridge Band would like to thank Whaley Bridge Town Council for their recent grant of £75.00.

As well as a flourishing Senior band the band have created a learner band where children and adults alike come together to perform.  As well as receiving individual lessons throughout the week, band practice is held at footsteps from 5-6pm on Thursday under the baton of Sheila Walton.  The band now numbers twenty two however newcomers are always welcome. Anyone interested in coming along contact Lorraine Jenkins on 01298 815069.

The grant will go towards a new trombone for one of our learner members.
