Planners say Yes to new homes at farm

High Peak borough planners are recommending the council to approve plans for five new homes to be developed from Reddish Farm, Reddish Lane, Whaley Bridge.  The unoccupied farmhouse and buildings stand on a former working farm, overlooking Toddbrook Reservoir.  (more…)

Halo Hair and Beauty of Whaley Bridge has been a success story in its first year, and has started 2012 by expanding.  The beauty side of the business is now operating from premises in Wharf Road, just across from Market Street where the hairdressing salon thrives.
