We have recently introduced a new e-forum (email forum) to the Community Messaging Service, which will give you the chance to contribute to the setting of priorities in your neighbourhood.

As you may be aware, each of our Safer Neighbourhood policing teams hold a meeting every three months to set priorities, offering residents the chance to select what their local police officers and other agencies target.

The aim of our e-forum is to make it easier for you to have a say on priorities.

Simply reply to this email and tell us what you would like your team to target.

Your concerns will be sent to the Whaley Bridge Area Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and they will discuss all responses at their next forum meeting which will be held on:

Wednesday 13th April at 7pm at The Mechanics Institute, Whaley Bridge.

Each team works in partnership with local agencies, which include parish, town, district and county councils, housing associations, Derbyshire Youth Service, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service, Neighbourhood Watch among others, to help keep your area a safe, clean and pleasant place to live.

Priorities can include a wide variety of issues, including anti-social or nuisance behaviour, graffiti or vandalism, speeding, parking or anything which you feel impacts on the quality of life for you and your neighbours.
