Chance to meet the police in the High Peak

A series of meetings and surgeries are being held by police for residents in parts of the High Peak.

Police surgeries are a chance for people to drop-in and speak to officers from the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team about any concerns or issues.

No appointment is necessary at the surgeries, which will take place at:

Whaley Bridge: Thursday, March 31, 5-6pm at the Tesco, Whaley Bridge

New Mills: Monday, April 4, 5.30-7.30pm at New Mills police station on Hurst Lea Road.

Buxton: Wednesday, April 6, 12-1.30pm in the café at The Dome, University of Derby Buxton, Devonshire Road.

There is also a chance for people living in New Mills, Hayfield, Birch Vale and Rowarth to have a say on neighbourhood priorities for police and partners.

Residents are invited to their quarterly meeting at 7pm on Thursday, April 7 at New Mills Volunteer Centre on Union Road.

For more information, or if you have any concerns and cannot make the meetings or surgeries, you can contact your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team by calling 0345 123 33 33.
