Residents have received calls from a suspicious man who claimed to be a representative from a bank, saying that the customer needed to collect new bank cards as there was a problem with their current cards. He said they could either collect the cards from the bank or have them delivered to their home address. He asked for bank card/account details which were not given to him. The calls were made from a well spoken male using a mobile phone.

Banks have confirmed that this is a scam. If you receive any similar calls do not give out your bank card or account details but inform your bank.
