BC1158 Update on policing priorities

Whaley Bridge and Furness Vale Safer Neighbourhood Team have had their most recent quarterly meeting. The team would like to thank all those that attended, with another fine turn out from the local community.

It has been decided that the priority problems of anti-social behaviour at Taxal Lodge and the White Hart public house can now be downgraded, as local residents are happy that any issues in these areas have been controlled by the police and their partners.

A new priority has been decided and this is at the Soldier Dick public house, Furness Vale. Local residents are concerned that the recently closed premises and its grounds, are becoming the target of anti-social behaviour and possible drink and drug taking by local youths.
