Christmas is on its way. The lights switch on in Whaley Bridge will be on Friday 26 November, with the usual arrival of Santa Claus by canal narrowboat,  music and carols by Whaley Bridge Band, a table top sale in the Mechanics’ Institute and late night shopping.  The lights switch on at Furness Vale will be on Tueday 30 November.  Watch for more detailed information about both events on this website.
