Emma’s charity walk round Anglesey

EMMA WOOD, a university student, and her brother Chris are planning a sponsored walk round the 125 mile coastline of Anglesey to raise money for Blythe House, the High Peak hospice. Their mother, Sue, died of cancer at the hospice five years ago.  Emma and Chris remember happy family holidays on the island.  The charity walk is in memory of a mum who died too young.

Emma is enjoying her life: a mixture of studying for a countryside management degree, doing occasional work in the holiday breaks and community work. She  was a high profile steward at the Whaley Water Weekend in June (see picture). She has been working in Goyt Wine, Canal Street, Whaley Bridge, gaining experience in wines and serving them at tastings.

To sponsor Emma and Chris, phone 01663 734 214 or call in at Goyt Wine, which has sponsor forms.
